Philip R. Doering, M.D. | ||||||
|
Philip Doering, M.D. was born in St. Louis, but has lived most of his life in Indiana. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Indiana University. He graduated with honors from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1979. He did his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan, and he spent a second year in Internal Medicine at Indiana University. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in 1986 and joined SIRA, Inc. His final year of residency was a junior staff postion with six months devoted to chest imaging and six months devoted to body imaging. Dr. Doering is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and has memberships in Monroe-Owen County Medical Society, Indiana State Medical Association, Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology, and the Clinical Magnetic Resonance Society. His areas of interest involve cross-sectional imaging (CT, MRI, and ultrasound). Dr. Doering is married and has a daughter and son. His wife is a retired internist with whom he enjoys birdwatching, hiking, and going to the theater. He also enjoys riding his motorcycle, sailing his Hobie cat, and paddling his kayak, though not as often as he would like. |
